Help B’nai Israel deliver Rosh Hashanah packages to senior residents in the Rockville area. Volunteers meet in the B’nai Israel parking lot at 9:30 AM to receive packages and names and addresses of the recipients. In the past, volunteers delivered 4 to 6 packages. Begin your celebration of Rosh Hashanah and the new year with our congregational shlicha, Uriel Lin. Uriel will talk about honey, the beehive society, and her own family’s bee farm. Take a closer look at how honey is harvested and learn how the flowers surrounding the hives affect the taste, texture, and color of the honey. The program includes an Israeli honey tasting experience. ** The event will be in person only.
