Cancelled - 3rd Grade Siddur Secrets
Sunday, March 15, 2020 • 19 Adar 5780
10:45 AM - 12:15 PMB'nai Israel CongregationWho created the first siddur? What was the origin of the prayers? Parents will convene with Rabbi Safra and their kids with Rabbi Penina to delve into the siddur.
We will also share important information for the Hagigat HaSiddur (celebration of the siddur) ceremony on May 8. For those not familiar with the ceremony, Hagigat HaSiddur is an opportunity to celebrate all that our 3rd graders have learned so far in their formal Jewish education. The students will lead a significant part of the Shabbat evening service on Friday, May 8th, beginning at 6:15 PM. The program is for all B'nai Israel Talmud Torah and Day School 3rd grade students and their families and will be followed by a family Shabbat dinner.
