HAZAK: Intergenerational Programs 2.0 with Rachel Lanman

Rachel Lanman, a program coordinator at the JCA's Heyman Interages Center, will share the power and importance of intergenerational connections and how they make a positive impact on everyone involved. The Interages Center has connected youth and older adults for over 30 years through tutoring, mentoring, book clubs, discussion groups, pen pal programs and more. She will share how people of all ages can feel supported, give back to their community, and develop meaningful intergenerational relationships.

Rachel Lanman is a program coordinator with the JCA Heyman Interages Center working to break stereotypes and help people build mutually beneficial intergenerational relationships. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from The University of Texas at Austin, and earned a Master of Music in Music Education from Kent State University while raising a family and teaching music in Beijing, China.

This program will be in-person only and will not be recorded.

Bring a dairy lunch at 12:30 PM; Program begins at 1:00 PM
