We often struggle between the teachings of our religion’s texts and scientific findings. Instead of choosing between them, we can discuss how religion and science complement each other. A study of the first story of Creation in Bereshit reveals that the text is in perfect agreement with 21st century scientific understanding.
ALAN SIEGEL is a radar systems engineer for a local defense contractor. He was Program Manager for development, delivery and acceptance testing of the Advanced Countermeasures and Radar Evaluation System to the Israeli Navy in 2002. Alan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering. He is passionate that science and religion are complementary to each other.
