HAZAK: The Unsung Heroes of the Manhattan Project with Steve Goldberg

Steve, an active member of B’nai Israel, will lead a discussion about the Manhattan Project, one of the most important projects ever undertaken by the United States. Steve will focus on several men and women who played a pivotal role to make such a complex, multifaceted project a success.
Steve Goldberg has performed central roles in several important and sensitive government projects regarding nuclear energy and nuclear nonproliferation. Previously, Steve was in the U.S. Government for three decades. When Steve was at
the Office of Management and Budget, he received the Executive Office of the President’s highest award for his efforts to negotiate several international agreements regarding nuclear nonproliferation.
