B’nai Israel Congregation in Partnership with Director Peter Hutchison and Big Tent Productions Presents the Movie Screening of:
Healing from Hate: Battle for the Soul of a Nation
Healing from Hate: Battle for the Soul of a Nation is about the rise of the alt-right movement. It examines the root causes of hate group activity through the bold work of Life After Hate, an organization founded by former Skinheads and neo-Nazis to help others exit hate groups. Documenting a stunning era of hatred in America—Healing From Hate follows these unique reformers in their work to de-radicalize White Nationalists, transform attitudes of intolerance, and heal communities torn apart by racism. Ultimately, messages of compassion and teamwork dominate.
“Mandatory viewing.”–LA Times
“A hopeful expression of how hate does not need to be the end of the road.”–CBS News
“Powerful and risky documentary that looks at racism in America... and how to enact change.” –AIPT
