Between October 7th and 8th: What Israel’s “Day After” Will Look Like with Dr. Yizhar Hess

The WZO is the closest thing we have to an international Jewish government. Based on proportional representation, the WZO allocates billions of dollars raised by the worldwide Federation system. Dr. Yizhar Hess explains how our participation in this election will make a huge difference for the future of our Conservative movement and its efforts to foster religious pluralism in Israel and throughout the world.
Dr. Yizhar Hess is Vice Chairman of the World Zionist Organization. From 2007–2020 Yizhar served as the Executive Director of the Masorti Movement in Israel. He earned a BA from Hebrew University, a law degree from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, an MA in Jewish Studies from the Schechter Institute in Jerusalem, and his PhD in Sociology and Education from Sussex University in Brighton, England. Yizhar is a 10th generation Jerusalemite.
