7:00 PM - 9:00 PMZoom

Join our shlicha, Netta Asner-Minster, for an Israeli movie and discussion, exploring the variety and complexity of Israeli society. We will be starting the event with a brief introduction by Noa Ohayon Bab, the senior shlicha to the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, who will be sharing her personal family story about their aliyah from Morocco. Then we will be watching Sallah Shabati, about Mizrachi Jewish immigration and their integration into Israeli society. The discussion that follows will provide more information on this subject and elaborate on the issues expressed in the movie.

Noa Ohayon Bab is leading the Israeli mission to Washington DC. Noa holds a Master Of Liberal Arts from Hebrew University's Interdisciplinary Revivim Honors Program. She also graduated executive programs from Princeton University, MIT Cambridge, and the ROI Schusterman global change maker program.

Noa is an entrepreneur, and co-founder of a leading social media job search platform in Israel that has over 90,000 followers (the largest of its kind in Israel), Dana and Noa Make My Career. In addition, Noa has 12+ years of experience in both tech and nonprofit sectors, having worked at the Edmond De Rothschild Foundation, eBay, and Hebrew University, and served as digital and tech mentor to a variety of companies from start-ups to global corporations.
