Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to announce the launch of our Listening Tour! For months, we have been talking about this important endeavor, and we are now ready to offer the congregation opportunities to gather for meaningful discussion.
The Listening Tour is an opportunity to gather small groups in members’ homes to discuss the things that matter most in our lives as we chart the course of our Jewish journeys. We will have intentional, moderated discussions, with the goal of strengthening our B’nai Israel community by engaging individuals with other people and with initiatives that align with their values and interests.
Judaism has always been a dynamic tradition, transforming itself whenever it found itself in new circumstances and unencountered realities. B’nai Israel wants to be the kind of synagogue that responds to today’s new realities and addresses the evolving needs and aspirations of our members. The Listening Tour and all subsequent conversations will help us partner with you to do this.
We want to make sure you are heard. We want to help you develop a relationship with Judaism that can transform and improve your life. We want B’nai Israel to be your spiritual home, and so much more.
Please sign up for one of the parlor meetings listed below by clicking on the link and completing the registration form. Please note that space is limited, and that we intend to add more “stops” as needed.
Thank you, Rabbi Mitchell Berkowitz
