"Meet the Israelis"- Jerusalemites Answer all Your Questions!
Sunday, May 2, 2021 • 20 Iyyar 5781
12:00 PM - 1:30 PMZoomIn honor of Yom Yerushalayim, Jerusalem Day, our shlicha, Netta Asner-Minster, is partnering with "Meet the Israelis." This organization will bring five Jerusalemites to us for intimate conversations. Each Jerusalemite is from a different community, and each will share their stories in a "round robin" format. These five Jerusalemites include an Israeli Arab from East Jerusalem, an Ultra-Orthodox Jew, a secular Jew, an Ethiopian Jew, and a settler from just outside Jerusalem. Each of these individuals will be in a different Zoom room and participants are encouraged to ask any question they have about the individuals, their lifestyle, and the community they are a part of. This is a great opportunity to learn about the unique mosaic of people in Jerusalem first-hand.
Please register below as space is limited to maintain an intimate conversation with the individuals.
This event is possible thanks to the 2020–2021 Nefesh B’Nefesh/Jewish National Fund Ma’alot Grant Program.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
