The Hidden Jews of Ethiopia: Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Nafkot – Yearning: A beautifully filmed documentary following director Malka Shabtay in her travels to meet with and record the struggles of today’s isolated Ethiopian Jewish communities. Shabtay visits the first hidden synagogue and participates in reenactments of sacred ceremonies. She also unflinchingly reveals the challenging anti-Semitic attitudes of Ethiopians.

This event is presented by the SEA Change Coalition and is free and open to all.  Please register below.
