$150 materials fee
All B’nai Israel adults and students in 5th, 6th or 7th grades (or above) are invited to attend a three-session workshop to design and create their own unique silk painted tallit. Students in 5th–7th grade need to be accompanied by an adult.
Each participant will envision, design, and create a tallit to cherish and be proud to wear.
In creating a tallit, you will reinforce the concept of l’dor v’dor, from generation to generation by creating a cherished heirloom. It is also an opportunity for an individual to practice hiddur mitzvah (beautifying a mitzvah), raising their spiritual practice to a higher level.
Participants must attend all three dates.
