Zoom: The Great Seder Plate Challenge
Monday, April 13, 2020 • 19 Nisan 5780
3:30 PM - 4:00 PMJoin me on Zoom on Monday, April 6th at 3:30 PM to see how my Seder plate turned out and get some ideas for your own! Then join me on Monday, April 13th at 3:30 PM to show off your amazing Seder plate. Here are some rules to follow while making your own Seder plate:
1. You must include all of the traditional Seder plate items:
• Karpas - a green vegetable
• Charoset- a (usually) sweet and fruity paste that represents the mortar
• Maror- a bitter herb (usually horseradish)
• Zeroah- a roasted lamb shank
• Beitzah - a hard boiled egg
• Matzah-unleavened bread we eat during Passover
2. You must have something on the plate that represents your family! This can be a picture, a symbol, or even make your own family crest.
3. You must have at least one Hebrew word on the Seder plate.
4. Most importantly, you must have fun while making it!
