Purim Spiel Registration 2024

Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Purim spiel: The Little Mermaid of Shushan! We look forward to a wonderful musical theater experience for our community.

Everyone who wishes to participate must register below. Auditions will take place on Monday, January 8, 4:00-6:30 PM and Tuesday, January 9,5:00-7:30 PM at B’nai Israel. Callbacks will be Wednesday, January 10, time TBD.

If your child would like to be part of the ensemble without lines, they do not need to audition, but they do need to register below. Any child who wants to be considered for a bigger role and speaking part should come audition. A link to sign-up for an exact audition time will be emailed closer to January.

For the audition, please prepare a short selection from a song (32 bars). Please have an accompanying karaoke background track to sing along with. You can find these easily on Youtube. Kids will also be asked to read lines in a scene as part of the audition.
Eligibility to participate in this year’s Spiel is for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Please register as early as possible so we can plan accordingly. Register below. If registering more than one child, submit a separate form for each.
