Men's Club
To its members, the Men’s Club represents three goals: serving B’nai Israel and the larger community, strengthening Jewish values, and building camaraderie. That is why we joined, why we want to participate, and why we have such an active and vibrant group. These are the beliefs that keep us all coming and supporting the Men’s Club.
Our programs include selling, delivering, and building sukkot; conducting a Sports Night; providing candles to the congregation to commemorate the Shoah; supporting B’nai Israel’s Mitzvah Day projects; bringing fathers and their kids together through our Afternoon with Abba program; playing basketball with USY; raising funds for Talmud Torah; sponsoring an annual health fair; fielding two softball teams; and conducting the World Wide Wrap.
Men’s Club Annual Membership Fee: Members $40
Our Leadership
Men’s Club Spring Softball League
The season runs from early-April to mid-July. Practices are beginning, so it is time to join your friends and participate on our terrific softball team. The cost is $30-$40 a player. If interested, please contact Jonathan Salant or Scott Hodes.
MEN'S CLUB SUKKOT SALES PROGRAM
Purchase a Sukkah online from www.sukkot.com and use the code “bnaimens2023” at checkout to receive an 8% discount.
If you need assistance with your Sukkah selection or help to construct a new or existing Sukkah (even if purchased elsewhere), the Men’s Club members will gladly help for a small donation to the Talmud Torah. We look forward to assisting you. Contact Asher Gendelman (240-432-0020, asher@gendelman.us).
